A native of the Pacific Northwest, I currently reside with my wife and daughter (with another on the way!) on the edge of "Silicon Valley," in Morgan Hill, California.
I work at IBM's Silicon Valley Laboratory, where I am an experienced technical writer at IBM. I write technical documenation for DB2 for z/OS, a mainframe-based relational database engine. It was first designed and released in the early 1980s. I have been writing about DB2 for about ten years.
I author content in DITA XML, with content reuse and single-sourcing of content across all supported DB2 product releases.
The information that I write is tranformed to several output formats. You can find the web version DB2 for z/OS documentation in IBM Knowledge Center. If you prefer to read technical manuals in a print-like format, you can download PDF files from the DB2 for z/OS Product documentation page, which I also maintain.
