Elisha knew his master would be taken from him - but, like Peter, seems to have resisted the thought.

He was determined to follow his master all the way across the Jordan. Even as Peter was ready to follow His Lord to the grave.

But the Master has another plan - He intends to leave his power and authority with His disciples

Our Lord, like Elijah, has ascended to Glory. And has left us His Spirit

Never will He leave us!
