Wanted! Children after God's Own Heart! Scripture Memory program:

Psalm 34 was written by David during his "Outlaw" Years. Our theme Verse and daily memory verses are all take from it. The children will have colorful Bandannas with their class brands in the center. Upon memorizing and reciting their verses to the Brandin' Crew - additional brands will be added to each Bandanna. Perhaps a special prize such as a cowboy hat could be awarded to any child who memorizes the entire Psalm!! Each day highlights a particular virtue of God's children. Songs and skits will build around these themes. In teaching the verses relate them to these themes as well. Younger children will use the Italicized portion of the verses for their memory assignments.
