The Swift 1805 Pilot Boat (my nearly finished project was actually started in 1984.) . . .
After putting together the false keel, bulwarks and false deck, and a false start on planking, the model was carefully packed away for 20 years. I started again in the summer of 2004, beginning with the planking.
Some modelling notes . . .
- Note addition of gun ports with additional bulwark supports, and some rather oversized block and tackle. The barrel also has been tied down.
